OKC (1) v. Memphis Grizzlies (8):

The Grizzlies were able to keep the Nico Harrison memes going last night by putting the Mavericks away in the Play-In, despite a 40-point effort by Anthony Davis. Nevertheless, Ja and his ridiculous new celly aren’t going to get past SGA and the number one team in the league. Gentleman sweep, if not full sweep by OKC. 

Rockets (2) v. Warriors (7):

Now this, this is going to be interesting. The Rockets are a formidable team with one helluva coach in Udoka, but you can never overlook The Chef. Now partnered with his new Robin in Jimmy Buckets, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Warriors took this one. I’m going to say it goes six games either way, but if I had to choose, I’m betting on the Warriors and championship experience.

Lakers (3) v. Timberwolves (6):

Ant-Man, He-Man, Milkman, Fisherman…Lakers in five. (I really hope this meme holds true even after that terrible outing by The King and his crew last night).

Nuggets (4) v. Clippers (5):

Another really interesting match-up. I won’t lie, like most NBA fans, I’ve been ignoring the Clippers for most of the season because…well, it’s the Clippers. But, after seeing their game against the Warriors last week, I was genuinely impressed. Harden and Kawhi balled out. If they keep that up and Ty Lue and Jeff Van Gundy figure out a way to keep Jokic at bay, the Nuggets might be in trouble, especially considering their whole coaching snafu. This series is going to seven games, and I’m picking the Clippers to move on.
